Student Health Surveys

Students are asked to participate in the Georgia Health Survey for the GADOE. The Georgia Student Health Survey is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument that identifies school climate issues that impact student achievement. In order to provide
a safe and supportive learning environment for your child, the Georgia Department of Education collects survey information from students during the school year. The survey covers various topics such as school
climate and safety, alcohol and drug use and mental health. All student survey data is anonymous and self-reported. Please contact Mr. Remillard if you wish to view a copy of the survey.
Called Board Work Session
Our school board will have a called meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing school safety.

Whereas our school board always keeps the safety of students and staff at the forefront of all decisions, we feel that an honest discussion in an open forum would be best to ensure we are doing all we can. Our school board is open to any and all ideas which could improve safety.

Please feel free to join us if you have ideas you want to share or if you just want to hear the conversation.

Georgia Parent Survey

Parents have the opportunity to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey. The results of this survey will help determine the needs of our school and will take part in our School Climate Rating. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Parents may select the Spanish version within the survey. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. Please click the link at the top to access the survey.

Classworks/ELT Information
LCMS students have recently taken a Universal Screener to determine their academic readiness for the 2017-2018 school year. The screener generated scores which were used to create custom Individual Learning Paths in a program we use called Classworks. The learning paths reinforce skills for both remediation and enrichment in math and ELA. We are very excited to offer this learning tool to your student during ELT time at LCMS. If you have questions or concerns and/or would like to know your child's scores, please contact your student's teacher.
