Welcome to the Lumpkin County School Nutrition Program!
The School Nutrition Program’s motto is "Feeding Bodies, Fueling Minds"
Lumpkin County Schools participate in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, which help to keep meal prices low for ALL students.
Parents/guardians, please submit a new school year 2019-2020 free & reduced application for your household. Until your application is received and processed, parents/guardians are responsible for payment of all student meals at the full student price ($1.50 for breakfast, $2.20 for lunch).
Did you know?
We offer MyPaymentsPlus, a state-of-the-art online service that provides you the convenience and information you need to manage your student’s meal account.
This system speeds up serving lines in the cafeteria, eliminates the need to send checks to school or worry about lost or forgotten lunch money, and ensures that your child will receive a nutritious meal.
At no cost, MyPaymentsPlus allows any family to:
- Create a free, secured account to manage all of your student’s accounts
- Check your student’s current account balance
- Create settings to receive email notifications when the account reaches a low balance
For a small program fee, MyPaymentsPlus allows any family to:
- Make a prepayment into your student’s meal account using a check, credit card, or debit card at www.mypaymentsplus.com or by calling 866-206-6271. Funds deposited are usually available for student use within a matter of minutes.
- Create settings to automatically replenish your student’s account when it reaches a low balance
We strongly encourage all parents (even if you do not prepay for your student’s meal account) to create an account at no cost through MyPaymentPlus.
To create a new account, follow the onscreen directions and register your student using their Student ID number. Student ID numbers can be obtained by contacting customer support at: 1-877-237-0946 or School Nutrition Office at 706-864-3611.
For those who do wish to prepay into their student’s meal account, MyPaymentsPlus offers several convenient ways to do so by visiting www.mypaymentsplus.com or calling 866-206-6271 from anywhere, at anytime.
We consistently strive to find new and better ways to serve our students and our families, thank you for partnering with us in this effort.
Lumpkin County Cafe Charge Policy
All Lumpkin County Schools have a student "no charge" policy. It is the intent of Lumpkin County Schools that no student should go all day without meals however, so an alternate breakfast and/or lunch will be provided at no charge to students.
Per federal guidelines the School Nutrition Program cannot allow uncollected charges. Café Managers and Assistants remind students if meal funds are getting low, send home notices, and call parents if there is a concern about meals or a negative meal account balance.
Our local charge policy can be accessed by clicking here on charge policy.
Checks or monies given to cashiers will first be applied to any existing charges, then any remaining funds will be placed on the account. If two checks have been returned for NSF, all future purchases will be on a cash only basis.
