Today, the planet Mercury crossed the face of the sun in a rare Mercury transit. Mrs Jones, STEAM teacher, arranged for visitors, including Mr Jones, to come to LCMS to set up telescopes so our kids could view the event, which will not be visible from Earth again until 2032.

We will have a free spaghetti dinner for all while supplies last as well as a costume contest where will will awards a winner for one K-5 student, one 6th grader, one 7th grader, and one 8th grader. We will also have many more things for our students and families to do. Mr. Remillard will also conduct the LCMS annual Title 1 presentation and answer questions related to Title 1. We hope you can attend.

The seventh grade STEAM students became Citizen Scientists today as they participated in the Great Georgia Pollinator Census. Each student submitted their data to the UGA Extension census website. The bees love our Loofa garden!
