They are among a very small amount of students selected from over 16,000 student applications around the nation who will be on the fast track of matching with prestigious Questbridge partner universities and colleges for a full-ride college scholarship after high school.

Mrs. Swift and Coach Estenson's Environmental Science class made solar ovens to study the power of the sun and apply knowledge learned during class. S'mores were a fun treat to wrap up a busy week!


Honors Environmental Science Class created review games made from recycled materials and then got to play them.


Abiela Parker, Colton Gilreath, Griffin Bagwell, and Jonathan Wright competed at the GHSA AAA State Literary Meet. Everyone did a fantastic job and represented LCHS extremely well! Abiela Parker took 3rd place in Literary Analysis Essay, and Jonathan Wright tied for 3rd place in International Extemporaneous Speaking. Congratulations, Lumpkin!
