Our JROTC, Healthcare and Automotive programs worked together on our annual Mass Evacuation activity today. JROTC cadets worked to secure the scene, Healthcare students triaged the "wounded" and provided care while our automotive classes served as "casualties". Teamwork was definitely the theme for this learning experience.

We had a great trip to Phoenix Air. It’s fun when programs can come together and collaborate with a business that employs healthcare professionals and Aviation mechanics. Phoenix air travels the world in top quality planes to save American citizens. Our students had the opportunity to see this in person today. Huge thank you to Jesse Turk and Phoenix Air for having us tour their airport!

30 Healthcare Science students traveled down to Atlanta for a visit to the CDC. They spent the day learning about all aspects of public health and how the CDC has been integral in healthcare all around the world. A history of healthcare was abundant, and the students learned a great deal.
