The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) is a required test for all sophomores to help prepare them for the SAT exams for college. The results are also used for course planning for Junior and Senior years. 8th & 9th grade students can pay $15 to test early in order to see what areas they need to work on before taking the SAT. Juniors this year can also take the PSAT for $15 in order to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. See your guidance counselor with questions. Sign ups end on September 10th.
