
LCMS is gearing up for their annual Autumn/Halloween Family Engagement Night. If you have a middle school student, bring the whole family to LCMS on October 29th from 5:00-7:00 PM!


Lumpkin County AgEd and FFA had a great showing at this weekend’s Georgia National Fair. With more than 20 heifers and steers, LC was well represented. Thank you, Mr. Bridges, Mr. Murray, Mr. Sapough and all the parents for your hard work! #TR1BE





LMCS will be hosting the fall Family Engagement and Title 1 Night on October 29th from 5:00-7:00 pm. We will have a free spaghetti dinner for all while supplies last as well as a costume contest where will will awards a winner for one K-5 student, one 6th grader, one 7th grader, and one 8th grader. We will also have many more things for our students and families to do. Mr.
Remillard will also conduct the LCMS annual Title 1 presentation and answer questions related to Title 1. We hope you can attend.


Teamwork and communication help students in Business and Finance classes "breakout" of the classroom. These sixth-grade students successfully completed the activity in Mrs. Brunner's class today.

What a way to wrap up the season! Lumpkin hosted our annual Lumpkin Invitational Cross Country Meet today. Our MS girls finished in 2nd place and our boys finished in 1st! We had 4 runners earn medals as well.

It was another great day for our cross country teams! Our girls placed 5th overall & the boys placed 2nd overall at the Mountain League Championships. We had 5 runners earn medals today. Ryann Jones-5th Kathryn Christian-9th Wyatt Windham-2nd Will Routhier-3rd Ben Sherrill-9th Go Indians!!!


Early Release for Parent Conferences tomorrow!


The LCMS boys tennis team also defended their region championship this evening. They defeated White County and brought the championship back the LC for another year. Great job coaches and players.




The LCMS girls tennis team won the region championship for a second year in a row. They beat a tough team from Gilmer County. Great job Coach Hogan and student athletes.




LCMS Cross County did very well today. Great job Indians!!




Over 140 students stayed at our after school event and to cheer on our LCMS football team against Dawson at 5:00. Come see our amazing student section and support the Indians if you can. Kickoff is at 5:00 at LCMS.


7th Grade Language Arts classes created a scene from the Outsiders with a comic book storyboard to establish tone, conflict and more. These 7th grade students were engaged and active in their learning throughout the entire class!
