During our team building time students were hired to design a cupcake for a kids birthday party in a be our chef bake off (with play dough) Our administrator judges voted and the winning team won free ice cream at lunch 🧁

We are so proud of our delegation from LCMS that represented us at the GLISI Deeper Learning Network meeting in Peachtree City today. 7th grade students and teachers have worked hard the last few weeks to develop projects and presentations all about Leukemia and Lymphoma to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Great work everyone!

In 7th ELA, we were writing about why chocolate cake is a symbol for the Curtis brothers. Students enjoyed some chocolate cake as we wrote today.

7th Grade students have been participating in some Project Based Learning to ultimately raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. At the homecoming game Friday night, you'll have the opportunity to donate and get a cookie or purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket for $5. Stop by the table and support our hardworking students while helping to fight cancer!

Mrs. Davis’s character Ed class collaborated with Mrs. Stroud and Mrs. Anderson’s classes to develop an obstacle course and worked together to achieve it!

400 building started their day with yummy pancakes hand made by our awesome teachers!

Social Studies students working hard to create models of wattle and daub structures. The Mississippian Indians built these homes using a mixture of woven wooden stakes (wattle) plastered with clay and mud (daub) for the walls.

Thanks to Mary and Kate from LCHS HOSA for coming to demonstrate basic CPR and talk about the healthcare pathways with some of our 8th graders!

8th graders reviewed 10 different angle relationships, created by parallel lines, in an outdoor activity. Students did excellent!

These programming students successfully built a minicomputer and programmed a Pico to display a traffic light today in class. Awesome!
